Service Description

I invite you to follow the journey of a genius through four essential sites: At the Accademia, you will come face to face with David, a monumental sculpture carved from a single block of marble, the ultimate symbol of human perfection according to the Renaissance. The Church of San Lorenzo and the Laurentian Library reveal another facet of Michelangelo: that of the architect. The library, commissioned by the Medici family, testifies to his inventive genius and his ability to reinvent classical conventions. At the Medici Chapels, you will discover Michelangelo the funerary sculptor. The tombs of Lorenzo and Giuliano de' Medici, adorned with the famous allegories of Day, Night, Dawn, and Dusk, achieve an emotional depth rarely equaled in Western art. Finally, the Casa Buonarroti immerses you in the master's private world: a house-museum that brings together his early works, his drawings, and artifacts from his Florentine life. A half-day to understand that in Florence, Michelangelo isn't just in the museums; he's in the very stone of the city. Tickets are not included in the price. Tickets for the various sites: approximately €50 per person Sites included in the Firenze Card (€85)
